MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to individuals and libraries.
The Annual Subscription is payable on the 1st January.
Individual Membership:
*Annual subscription is £15 stg., €23, US$25. Where payment is made by Banker's Order a preferential rate of £9 stg., €12, & US$15 shall continue to apply. This is in recognition of reduced administration costs.
*Benefits:- Entitled to all new publications at a special price (normally 50% of retail price) for a limited period from date of publication.
- One third discount off retail price of all Irish Text Society publications.
-One third discount off all Royal Irish Academy (RIA) publications.
-Volumes supplied in response to orders or may be purchased through the Royal Irish Academy online bookshop RIA Shop
where on the right of the web page you will be able to click on ITS Main Series to buy volumes in the Main Series and or on ITS Subsidary Series and on ITS Box Sets and Other Publications
The procedure to order books is as follows:-
1: Connect to the RIA Shop by either clicking on (where applicable) the link shown next to the ITS publication which will take you direct to the item on the RIA Shop or go direct to the RIA Shop Publications page. Here you will find the RIA categories of publications and three ITS categories, click on the one which you require e.g. 'ITS Main Series', select a publication and then click on 'Order';
2: If you wish to order more books click on 'Continue Shopping' this will return you to the Publications page of the RIA Shop. There you can select from the various categories containing details of RIA and ITS publications and then order additional items.
3: When you have finished shopping click on 'Proceed to Checkout' You will then be required to login, if a new customer you will need to register, setting and confirming a Password. If a member of the Irish Texts Society, please enter 'Texts' in the Members Discount box. Your details will then be checked in the database in order to confirm that you are a paid-up member of the Society and if so, then the discount will be applied.
Please note that Postal charges will be added to all orders.
Library Membership (two options)
Option 1: Full Library Membership (directly or through agents)
*Annual subscription £15stg., €23, US$25.
Where payment is made by Banker's Order a preferential rate of £9 stg., €23 & US$15 shall continue to apply.

*Benefits:- Entitled to all new main series publications at a special price (normally 50% of retail price) for a limited period from date of publication..
-One third discount off retail prices of all ITS and Royal Irish Academy publications.
-Volumes supplied in response to orders or through the Royal Irish Academy online shop.
- Annual Subscription needs to be up-to-date to avail of the discounts and use the code "Texts" which will identify you as a paid-up member.
- Postage charges will be added to orders.
Option 2: Library Circulation Membership (directly or through agents)
*No Annual Subscription
*Benefits:- All new publications automatically sent directly to library for payment against invoice.
-Full retail price + postage to apply.
-All existing publications available on request at full retail price + postage.
- Volumes supplied in response to orders or through Royal Irish Academy online bookshop RIA Shop
Non-members can obtain the Society's publications by placing an order with their usual bookseller or through the Royal Irish Academy Shop.
In case of difficulty, they should contact the Honorary Secretary of the Society or
ÁIS, (Book Distribution Centre), 31, Fenian Street, Dublin 2, Ireland.
